Children's Wisconsin is the state’s only independent health care system dedicated solely to the health and well-being of children. In Milwaukee and throughout the state, we provide kids and families a wide range of services and support – everything from routine care to lifesaving advances and treatment options. Our academic partner, the Medical College of Wisconsin, brings many of the nation's most well-respected doctors to our team. Together, we work to ensure that every child and family we serve receives nothing but the best and safest care. For over 30 years, Children's Wisconsin has been committed to the training and development of health administration professionals. The Administrative Fellowship at Children's is a two-year experiential learning program designed to provide masters-trained individuals with exposure to the various aspects of a comprehensive pediatric health system. The first year of the fellowship is designed to immerse the fellow in the operations of Children's Wisconsin. The fellow rotates throughout the health system to understand its breadth and depth then delves into project work that both supports the development of a future health care leaders and aligns with organizational needs and priorities. During the second year of the fellowship, the fellow continues working on projects with increasing responsibility and scope, including those with the opportunity for interim leadership roles.
